Rock Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Mix in large saucepan; stir until all sugar is dissolved, then cook to 310\u00b0.
    Take off heat; add flavoring and food coloring. Pour onto powdered sugar covered cookie sheet.
    Use your choice of flavoring.
