Savory Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. shredded cabbage
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained and chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
3 c. cooked regular rice
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Combine first 5 items.
In a large saucepan, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Place half of rice in a greased 2-quart casserole, top with half of cabbage mixture.
Repeat layers.
Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well; sprinkle over casserole.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Yields 8 servings.
