New England Boiled Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3-4 lb. corned beef
    1 quartered cabbage
    2 turnips
    6 carrots,
    8 pared potatoes
    6 pared parsnips, cut in half
Preparation
    Simmer corned beef approximately 1 hour per lb.
    Add vegetables to kettle 40 minutes before meat is done.
