Taco Salad(Diabetic Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    1 medium tomato, seeded and chopped
    4 c. shredded lettuce
    1/4 c. chunky taco sauce
    1/4 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion; drain away fat.
    Add spices, beans and tomato and heat.
    Top 1 cup lettuce with 1 cup meat mixture.
    Spoon 2 tablespoons salsa sauce and 1 tablespoon sour cream.
    Makes 4 servings.
    One serving equals 1 1/2 bread and 2 meat.
