Peach Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    4 1/2 c. peeled, sliced peaches or nectarines (about 2 lb.)
    1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell
Preparation
    In bowl, stir together flour and sugar.
    With pastry blender or 2 knives, cut in margarine until crumbs form.
    Stir in nuts.
    Set aside.
    In medium bowl, mix cornstarch and ginger.
    Stir in corn syrup until smooth.
    Add peaches.
    Toss to coat.
    Spoon into pastry shell.
    Sprinkle crumb mixture on top.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 55 minutes or until golden brown.
    Makes 8 servings.
