Baked German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. diced bacon
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. chopped parsley
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 qt. potatoes, boiled, peeled and sliced 1/8-inch thick
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    If not 1/4 cup fat left in skillet, add oil to make 1/4 cup.
    Add celery and onion.
    Cook 3 minutes.
    Add flour, salt and pepper.
    Cook 2 minutes longer.
    Add sugar, vinegar and water all at once and bring to a boil.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring with a whisk.
    Add parsley, celery seed and bacon.
    Remove from heat.
    Place potatoes in oiled 13 x 9-inch pan and pour dressing over all. Mix very gently.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
