Cherry Bonbons - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 lb. red maraschino cherries, drained
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Blend butter and sugar.
    Add vanilla.
    Stir in flour and nuts. Take small amount of dough, flatten out in palm of hand and place cherry in center.
    Bring dough up around and roll in the palms of your hand to form a ball.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
