Corn Meal Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. cold milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1 c. lukewarm water
    4 1/2 to 5 cups plain flour
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal,
    salt
    and
    cold milk in pan.
    Cook until very stiff.
    Add sugar and shortening.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add eggs and yeast dissolved in lukewarm water.
    Stir in flour to make medium dough.
    Let rise for 1 hour.
    Divide dough into 4 portions and roll
    into\tcircle.
    Cut
    8
    wedges from circle. Roll up beginning
    with
    wide
    end.
    Place\ton greased baking sheets.
    Let rise
    for 45 minutes.
    Bake for about 15 minutes at 425\u00b0.\tYields 32 rolls.
