Ornamental Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together confectioners sugar and cream of tartar.
    Add egg whites and vanilla.
    Beat with electric
    beater until frosting holds its shape.
    Tint with food coloring.
    Cover with damp cloth when not in use.
