Ingredients

1 lb. pkg. (2 c.) long grain white rice
4 c. water
no salt
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
Preparation

Bring water to boil.
Add rice, butter and raisins.
Reduce heat to low.
Cover pan and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add sugar; stir well.
Serve hot with milk.
