Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water in a 2-quart bowl.
    Stir in strawberries, pineapple, bananas and pecans.
    Pour half the mixture into a 9 x 9-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spread with sour cream.
    Top with remaining gelatin mixture.
    Chill until firm.
    Yield: 12 servings.
