Chinese Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. spareribs, either the small or country style
    1/2 tsp. saltpeter (potassium nitrate)
    1/4 tsp. meat tenderizer
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Rub ribs well with other ingredients.
    Let stand overnight to marinate well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour on rack.
    Baste with sauce the last 20 minutes.
