Sliced Zucchini Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt cider vinegar
    2 c granulated sugar
    1/3 c salt (not iodized)
    2 tsp celery seed
    2 tsp ground turmeric
    1 tsp dry mustard
    4 qt sliced unpeeled zucchini (thin)
    1 qt onions sliced thin
Preparation
    Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and spices to boil, stirring until dissolved.
    Pour over zucchini and onions and let stand for 1 hour.
    Bring to boil and cook for 3 minutes.
    Pack in pint jars. Process in water for 5 minutes.
    Makes 6 -7 pints.
