Date Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar until light.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder; beat into egg mixture.
    Add dates and nuts.
    Bake in a lightly greased 7 x 11-inch pan in slow oven for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut while still hot.
    Store loosely covered.
    Keeps for days.
