Italian Sausage Brunch(Breakfast Food) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices white bread, crusts removed, divided
    1 lb. Italian sausage, cut in 1/4-inch slices
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    4 c. (16 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
    5 eggs, beaten
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
Preparation
    Place 6 slices of bread in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Set aside.
    Cook sausage and next 3 ingredients in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned; drain well.
    Spoon half of sausage mixture over bread; sprinkle half of cheese over sausage.
    Layer remaining 6 slices of bread, sausage mixture and cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours.
