Venison Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. venison steak, cut in thin strips
    1 onion
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. button mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. flour
    salt and pepper
    1 c. tomato juice
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Dredge meat with flour, salt and pepper.
    Brown lightly in fat with the onion.
    Add tomato juice, water and sugar.
    Simmer until tender.
    Ten minutes before serving, add mushrooms and sour cream. Serves 4.
