Orange Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pie crust (9-inch)
    3 large eggs, beaten slightly
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. orange zest, shredded
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
    1 c. light cream
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1 can whipped cream
    2 Tbsp. shredded orange zest
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, grated orange zest, spices, salt, pumpkin and orange juice.
    Beat with electric mixer until mixture is smooth (no lumps remaining). Pour into an unbaked pie crust and bake for 55 minutes or until filling is set in center.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Just before serving, circle perimeter with whipped cream, then across the center.
    Garnish with shredded orange zest.
