Ugly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick soft margarine, not melted
1 egg
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (10 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix by hand the cake mix, margarine and 1 egg.
Pour mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Scatter pecans over mixture and press.
Mix together cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Fold in chocolate chips and pour over mixture
on top of other layer. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, until center is golden brown. Cut into squares when cool.
