Easy Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box light brown sugar (2 1/4 c.), firmly packed
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    pinch of salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Boil sugar, milk, butter and salt until it reaches soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Beat until creamy and loses gloss. Stir in pecans. Working quickly, drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
    Store in box in layers of waxed paper.
