Apple Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soft margarine
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. peeled and diced apples
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add egg.
    Sift dry ingredients; add to sugar mixture alternately with milk.
    Fold in apples and fill greased tins 2/3 full.
    Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
