Mrs. Goenner'S Caramels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. brown sugar
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 c. light Karo syrup
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. chopped nuts, if desired
Preparation

Mix all together, except for pecans, stirring all the time. Cook to 240\u00b0.
Add chopped nuts, if desired. (Must have low humidity.
It takes 30 minutes to cook.)
Pour into well-greased cookie sheet.
Makes about 3 pounds.
