Angel Hair With Special Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. chicken broth
1 c. pasta style tomatoes
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. cold water
angel hair pasta
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Heat chicken broth in a medium saucepan. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil.
Add seasonings.
Mix cornstarch with water and add to boiling sauce to reach desired thickness.
Cook angel hair pasta according to package directions.
Drain but do not rinse. Serve with sauce.
Cooked meatballs may also be added to the sauce, if desired.
