Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    4 tsp. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar and milk in heavy saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat to 234\u00b0 to 240\u00b0 on candy thermometer, soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Add peanut butter, vanilla and salt; mix well.
    Beat until thickened and creamy.
    Pour into buttered dish.
    Cool.
    Cut into squares.
    Yield:
    30 servings.
