Little Latin Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 jalapeno chilies
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove stems and seeds from chilies; chop chilies (may use canned chilies).
    Mix chilies, beef, egg, bread crumbs, milk, cheese, onion, salt and pepper.
    Shape into 1-inch balls.
    Place meatballs in ungreased oblong, 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Cook uncovered in 400\u00b0 oven until brown, approximately 20 minutes.
    Place meatballs in chafing dish.
    Pour salsa over meatballs.
    Makes 36 (1-inch) meatballs.
