Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 c. fresh or canned fruit, drained
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
    Add milk; beat well.
    Melt butter in a deep baking dish.
    Pour in batter, then add fruit.
    Bake in moderate oven (about 350\u00b0) until browned.
