Oven Cooked Deer Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    deer roast
    Italian seasoning
    4 or 5 carrots
    4 or 5 potatoes
    green onions, chopped
    garlic (if desired)
Preparation
    Begin 36 to 48 hours before you expect to cook.
    Place roast in cold water for 24 hours, changing water when very bloody. After soaking in refrigerator for 24 hours, remove from water. Stuff with green onions and garlic by making holes all over roast and stuffing in them.
    You pour Italian dressing over roast and soak 12 to 24 hours, turning every few hours. When ready to cook, pour out all but about 2-inches of liquid. Fill pot with water until it covers roast. Cover pot and place in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Cook for 2 1/2 hours, then add carrots and potatoes. Add water as needed and cook 1 more hour. Serve with rice and enjoy.
