Frosty Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks soft margarine
    1/3 c. confectioners sugar
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. flour
    dash of salt
    2/3 c. dates
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and confectioners sugar.
    Stir in water and vanilla.
    Add flour and salt.
    Mix well.
    Stir in dates and pecans.
    Roll in 1-inch balls.
    Place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) for about 20 minutes or until cookies are set, but not brown.
    While warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
