Dove In Brown Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. parsley
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/8 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    10 to 12 doves
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 medium chopped onion
    water
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put butter, parsley, thyme, clove, ginger and pepper in bottom of pan.
    Add doves, then add vinegar and onion.
    Half cover with water and add salt.
    Cover and cook until tender.
    Remove doves from pan and set in warm place.
