Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large pkg. cherry jello
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 can cherry pie filling
    12 oz. 7-Up
Preparation
    Dissolve cherry jello in heated (bubbling) cherry pie filling. Remove from heat.
    Stir in crushed pineapple, juice and all.
    Add chopped nuts and 7-Up.
    Mix and pour into large dish or bowl.
    Let jell.
    This is pretty for Christmas.
