Grandma'S "Panny Cakes" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Sift together flour and sugar.
    Beat eggs lightly; stir in milk.
    Then add melted shortening.
    Add liquids all at once to flour mixture and beat until smooth.
    (A spoon may be used.)
    Bake on hot griddle until golden brown.
    Makes 10 to 12 (4-inch) pancakes.
