1 - 2 - 3 - 4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour.
    Measure creamed shortening and vanilla.
    Add sugar and creamed mixture.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
    Add flour alternately with the milk.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
