Mushroom Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. white pepper
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Saute mushrooms and onion in butter. Add seasonings and set aside to cool slightly.
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender.
    Add milk and then stir in mushroom mixture.
    Drop from a spoon onto lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake about 12 minutes, until browned.
    Makes 1 dozen.
