Aunt Pearl'S Marinated Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    3/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Sprinkle sugar over cabbage in large bowl.
    Combine vinegar, oil, celery seed, dry mustard and salt in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and continue to boil for 1 minute.
    Pour over cabbage.
    Mix with hands.
    Cover and refrigerate.
