Southern Fried Chicken With Buttermilk(Yields 4 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large chicken thighs
    salt and pepper
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Mix flour, 3/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper on a plate.
    Roll chicken in it to coat.
    Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet over high heat.
    When hot, add chicken and brown on all sides, 5 to 8 minutes.
    Remove chicken.
    Add buttermilk to skillet.
    Scrape pan to loosen any brown bits.
    Return chicken to skillet, skin side up.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer until chicken is tender and juices run clear, about 15 to 20 minutes.
