Pink Stuff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
    1 1/4 c. cold water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries
    1 pkg. Cool Whip
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sprinkle gelatin on cold water in 2-quart saucepan.
    Place over medium heat and stir until gelatin is dissolved, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add sugar.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Whip Cool Whip with milk and vanilla as directed on package.
    Add slightly thawed raspberries to gelatin mixture and stir until fruit is completely defrosted.
    Beat with rotary beater until foamy.
    Stir in Cool Whip mixture.
    Spoon into dessert dishes.
    Chill until firm.
