Easy Krispy Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. marshmallows OR 40 large marshmallows
    5 c. Rice Krispies
    1/2 c. peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, melt butter on low heat.
    Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
    Remove from heat.
    Add cereal and peanuts if desired.
    Stir until well-coated in marshmallow mixture.
    Press mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Cool and cut.
