Great-Grandmother Minnie'S Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 to 4 c. self-rising flour, sifted
1 pkg. active dry yeast
3 Tbsp. warm water
1 c. lukewarm water
6 Tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Preparation

In a bowl, sift the flour.
In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in 3 tablespoons of warm water.
Add the lukewarm water, shortening, sugar and egg.
Slowly add the flour, blending well. Refrigerate overnight.
Shape the dough into rolls and let the rolls rise in a warm place.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until lightly browned. Makes 3 dozen.
