Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar (scant)
1/8 lb. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs with sugar; add dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
Heat milk and butter (do not boil) and add to batter.
Add vanilla and mix thoroughly. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Test for doneness.
