Opal'S Quick Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 c. warm water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. hot water
    2 to 4 c. self-rising flour
    4 Tbsp. powdered milk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside.
    Combine milk and flour, mixing well.
    Add yeast and remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Leave in mixing bowl to rise until doubled in bulk. Then roll out like biscuit dough, make into rolls and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until done.
