Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 pkg. Jell-O brand strawberry Jell-O
1 c. water
1 pie shell (do not use deep-dish crust)
fresh strawberries (about 1 to 1 1/2 c.)
Cool Whip

Preparation

Bake pie shell and cool. Slice fresh strawberries in crust. Mix sugar, water and cornstarch and cook until clear. Take off heat and add Jell-O. Let cool. Pour over berries in pie shell. Refrigerate and garnish with Cool Whip when serving.
