Pork Chops Ole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 loin pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 c. uncooked rice
1 1/2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

In a large skillet, brown chops in oil.
Salt and pepper. Meanwhile, combine rice, water, sauce and taco seasoning; mix well. Arrange chops over rice.
Bake covered at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover; top with cheese.
Return to oven until cheese melts. Yield:
6 servings.
