Skillet Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. kernels
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Slice off one pint of kernels from fresh roasting ears of sweet corn.
    Place in a skillet with 1/2 cup shortening, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Fry over low heat until done (about 8 to 10 minutes).
