Homemade Mayonnaise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    2 egg yolks
    2 c. salad oil
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of cayenne
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Add egg yolks and blend.
    Add vinegar; mix well with mixer on medium speed.
    Add salad oil, 1 teaspoon at a time, beating with rotary or electric beater, until 1/4 cup has been added.
    Add remaining oil in increasing amounts, alternating last 1/2 cup with lemon juice.
    Beat in hot water; this takes away oily appearance.
    Makes 2 cups.
