Ingredients

1 c. persimmon pulp
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix the first 9 ingredients together in order and bake.
Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Just prior to taking out of oven; mix brown sugar, flour, water and vanilla in a saucepan.
Cook until thick.
Pour over pudding and bake an additional 15 minutes.
