Sirloin On A Stick - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/2 c. dry red wine
    1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
    freshly ground black pepper
    1 1/2 lb. lean beef sirloin, cut into 12 pieces (2 inches square)
Preparation
    Mix marinade in a bowl.
    Add sirloin; toss to coat.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight until use.
    Preheat broiler.
    Remove beef from marinade and thread onto 4 skewers (3 pieces on each) on the diagonal.
    Place meat 4 inches from heat.
    Broil 3 to 4 minutes on each side, brushing with marinade and turning once for medium-rare meat.
