Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3/4 c. Karo syrup (dark or light)
2/3 c. water
2 egg whites
1 c. black walnuts (optional) or flavoring
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup and water.
Cook, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon, until mixture forms a ball when dropped in cold water.
Pour into egg whites that have been beaten (not too stiff).
Add nuts or flavoring and beat until mixture can be dropped by spoonfuls on waxed paper.
