Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 carrots, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 qt. whole kernel corn
    1 qt. sweet peas
    3 large potatoes, cut up
    1 can tomato paste
    6 c. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt or to taste
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. chunk beef
Preparation
    Brown the beef.
    Place all of the ingredients except the paste in a 6-quart souper pot at 400\u00b0.
    Cover and let boil about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add meat and more water, if needed.
    Cover and boil another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add tomato paste and turn down; let simmer for 15 minutes.
