Lime Slush Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    3 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    1 c. cold water
    1 (64 oz.) bottle ginger ale, chilled
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar and gelatin in boiling water in large bowl. Stir in juices and cold water.
    Cover and freeze 8 hours.
    Remove 1 hour before serving.
    Break into chunks and pour in ginger ale. Stir until slushy.
    Yield: 1 gallon.
