Traditional Eastern Curry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef or chicken
    3 chopped potatoes
    2 chopped onions
    2 crushed garlic cloves
    2 heaped Tbsp. curry powder
    2 peeled and chopped tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. water
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Fry onions and garlic in oil.
    Add curry powder and tomatoes; cook over low heat for a few minutes.
    Add meat and brown.
    Add all remaining ingredients; simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve over rice.
    Top with coconut, chopped dried fruit, chopped tomatoes and onions, banana, raisins, etc.
