Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 to 4 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
1 egg
1 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Set aside. Beat egg. Add milk. Add oil. Add to cornmeal mixture; stir just enough to mix. Grease pan and fill half full. Bake at 425\u00b0 until lightly browned, 20 to 25 minutes.
